Facebook and work got me, for the most part.

Though a very good thing about Facebook is that I recently got the opportunity to meet and hang out with Killmour. Rob is one cool cat, I'll tell you all that much (though I suppose that's pretty much common knowledge, eh?).

No idea if there is a mix in there or not, Bish.

I guess this is my version of getting a sports car to combat the midlife crisis.

I don't usually feel old when I see those "You know you're old when..." lists.

But my daughter finished kindergarten today. She's starting 1st grade in a couple of months. And she's far too smart for her own good. I'm starting to get those first twinges of, "Hmm, no going back now, is there?"

I've tried some of those herb-based ales from Scotland (heather, pine, elderberry, etc.) and they were fantastic.

Excellent! I recently tried one called 'Froach', which is flavored with Scottish heather ... very enjoyable!

Bears are nasty, but wolves are nastier. Luckily, I have a net.

I think I may have almost 40 different brutes now. Makes that 3-times-a-day thing a little easier to stomach. And only ONE of them has throwing stars.

If you haven't checked out "My Brute" yet, you should give it a go. It's a totally random, mindless, and fun battle to the death (or more accurately, battle to the one-guy-taking-a-knee).

You just create a name, they give you a fighter, you fight. The more fights you win, the more xp you get, the ...
