Tonight we killed Ebonroc (first try), Flamegor (second try b/c the MT went down in like 1.2 seconds), Chromaggus (first try), and Nefarian (second try, but the first wasn't serious, we did it all naked to see what spell classes we would be facing).

So really great job tonight. My tier 2 chest piece dropped, but I didn't have nearly enough DKP to get it. At least someone got it who really deserves it.

I would congratulate VT, but everyone left except for Chad and Jeff and I.

So grats Chad and Jeff.

And for those of you who are comparing raiding to DAoC... well I remember doing EIGHT HOUR ML9 runs. 4 hour Phoenix fight anyone?? Yeah, I know they've dumbed it down now.

The entire raid took about 2.5 hours tonight. We spent more time on those tricky trash mobs than the bosses themselves. Kitty, they have MC raids on Saturday now at 5pm, usually lasting till around 8pm, 9pm tops. I always have to work so I can't ever make it.

The Advent of WoW, forced DAoC to simplify the raiding.

Raiding in DAoC is SOOOOOOO Much like wow now. There was someone from The Galahad cluster that Raiding 3 TGs in under 4 hours start to finish.

I guess me and Gwens biggest problems with getting into raids or joining the PvP farm fest was more so because of our work scheduals. Most of the raids at the time (since I have no idea when they start now) were at 7pm server time. Unfortunately that ment most of the time neither of us could make it since we worked till 5-6pm Vegas time and in my case even later. That and with the moving into a new place and getting settled in didnt leave us with much free time either.

I miss playing with a lot people from VT and a few from Nerdcraft. Yeah I am not an "old school" member from back in the day but I still enjoyed peoples company and thats saying a lot for me since im usually a loner that spends his time griefing idiots. I will miss all of that. However I am not much of a PvE oriented guy for the most part and the PvP BGs just get stale after farming honor for 4-5 hours.

Im not sure exactly why I am posting this... I guess its because I wanted you all to know that I had a good time with you and I hope ta meet up with ya all down the road (cough come to vegas cough).

Well enough of my loud mouth Im gonna get back ta work catch ya all later.

Very good Jeff. Dont forget to drag all the straglers with you like Naomi and Chad I tire of thier poor excuses like jobs and money. :P

We all know Jorm will never come. With high speed data I doubt he will be able to pry his eyes from his porn box of a computer.

LIES and TRICKERY! However should you decide to come ya should drag Farfs ass along just for the hell of it.

P.S. The week before Christmas at work is so god damn boring I cant stand it. Never thought I would see the day I would prefer being stressed out to the point of a nervous break down...

Most likely I'll be stationed somewhere in the continental U.S. because of my job in the corps, so you can expect to see me in vegas at least once in the next 2 years, hopefully more since I hear vegas is the place to be.

okies...I got two postscripts!!!

#1 see lilly....even saturdays are bad for me....I work until at least 5:30 pm PST..and most of the time until 6 sometimes later...I guess thats the shitty part of working in the medical field...no real set schedule....and Saturday nites are my goin out nites....I wont give those up...EVER!!!! Reality is I just dont have time to devote to a game that can become a second job...the raiding and the keeping up with the PvP ranks....dont get me wrong..I miss the hell outta that game...but I miss the people more than I miss the grind....I would seriously be putzing around and like making dinner....and Brad would be stuck in a AB game for like 30 mins+, the game only gives you two choices...either PvE or PvP it doesnt really cater to the casual gamer at least in not very many aspects.

I guess i'm just trying to explain myself...prolly doin a bad job of it too, but basically...MMORPG's require too much time that I dont have alot of at the moment...who knows...maybe after the first of the year when things slow down a bit....I might be back to scream "BOOBIES" in guild chat once again

ok...post script #2

We did ML9 in about 1 1/2 hours yesterday. I finally got ML10 today.

One guy (was leading the raids) got his new toon from ML1 to ML10 in 10 days.

Yea, the PvE stuff is actually kind of fun now that they have it less difficult.

And it looks like they fixed the TOA lag - 120 in the BG for ML8 and not a hitch.

I miss you guys, but like Kitty said in her post, I just don't have enough time to devote to WoW. I used to think that DAOC was a demanding bitch, but it is nothing compared to the time in Wow....travel time, time to form groups, time to do almost anything.

Like I said though, I still miss you guys and hope we will meet up in the future.
