I dunno what it was or what hit me. All I know is I'm standing happily in the courtyard of Dun Bolg or something one minute summoning a prescience node or something, and then I'm just dead. And really, I as out in the courtyard, away from walls, sort of mingling along with everyone else.
And here I was considering getting toughness over physical defense because it would give me an extra 400 hp. Now I'm thinking P/D would be better, becuase if it can block just 30% of damage or whatever it caps out on absorb, that would still be over 1000 less damage, just from that hit alone, provided it was melee.
Not that 2600 damage would have mattered much either.
