Sorry bud, I almost took you up on your offer to rejoin DAOC, unfortunately after a 5hr download of 1Gb+...

The stupid program tells me I have missing and/or corrupted files...

No way I'm buying the game again so I will remain in first person shooters for the time being...

no no no you don't have to rebuy the game if you purchase the download

other people have had the same issue with the corrupted file thing

just start downloading it before you go to sleep and when you wake up you should be gtg

Ok, I gave in to temptation and reloaded TOA... Have signed up for a month, but have not d/l'd any new expansions...

Will see if it captures my imagination or not..

Dr is the expansion that will grab you sooth... its probably the best one so far. Will try and catch you online.

Not sure if I will spend the cash on any new expansions yet, will just criuse in and out for the next month and see if I can get back into in...

I have the TOA expansion so am only Cata and DR behind..

On my first log in I got confused with all the buttons and it's like re-learning it all over again, but I will get over that part with a few hours game play..

Hardest part it to remember my spell setups.. lol

I'm the one who convinced him to actually pay to reactivate for a month last night. He's been temporarily banned from WoW because of something that is completely Blizzard's fault and waiting to get it straightened out, but we're still waiting on an email from them and he was really bored last night.

Anyway, he is very upset about zerkers still being so crappy, and was kind of discouraged. Sabranic helped him a bit later and he got a horse, but he's still playing on ToA client and we will not be purchasing Cats or DR. He did have fun though talking to everyone again. Good to see you guys are having a great time.

As for me, I'm debating whether I have time to game at all so I don't see myself reacivating DAoC anytime soon.

I'm pretty sure that even if Khary had time to play it would be WoW anyway, but he doesn't. /cry
