A TG raid, Feburary 22nd at 8pm CST. Meet at Hagall, in SI.

We are going to try and do a 2-3g Complete TG raid. IT will last approx 3-4 hours including Lotto.

The raid will be open to VT, Jormungander, Leftovers and Ook Ook First, then if we need anyone else, will be invited AS NEEDED.

Requirments:
For melee:

LW heater weapons. (pyroclasmic)

None for casters except DO NOT USE COLD BASED ATTACKS....ever. You will incur the wrath of DEFCON 5 if you do :p

Loot will be based as Need. No alt rolling, (unless you have been asked to play a needed class)

No kickbacks.

No selling of loot on CM's ><

Respec stones COUNT as your item, I may relax this depending on amount of loot vs amount of players

Farf will be claiming the TG Thane Crown.

I will not be claiming anything.

With the new changes, and 2gs we should be able to get to the high council np, and possibly take out the King/Queen.

All non lottoed stuff will go to the VT house for sales.

I can play Blods (Warrior) -- if that's ok?

Otherwise I can play Kwesatz for PBAE SM / ML9 pet.

as jorm stated, this WILL go smoothly, so it is written, so it shall be done.

we don't play around on raids, unless it's a panty raid.

on the subject of that crown. it is all i care for, if it falls, weeee, if not, i'll not be rolling on anything, as it's bad enough to claim something.

enjoy the raid, it'll be one hell of a show.

i swear to god, the first person to use a cold attack, i'll have you audited.

we run a relaxed program, mostly for fun, but always for business. jorm will be doing most of the work, i'll only do things as neccessary and provide not so comic relief.

and remember, the one rule of raids.
always stay behind the raid leader unless directed otherwise.

Assuming 2 groups, this is what I am aiiming for.

Group 1:

MA warrior

Thane or Valk--guard on MA

PBT

Shaman

2 Healers 1 High mend one high aug.

2x hunters

Group 2

Summon SM-pet and castable damage shield

2x thane and/or valk

2 healer 1 mend/1aug

Shaman

Hunter/sb etc.

Reason Im not fond of Mid casters most of them do Cold damage, unless it is the RM RC baseline. which is energy...doesnt help out.

All melee has to get LW heaters, if you cant find one. Ill buy you one for the raid.

I plan on doing 1 night of epic pve per week, I dont want this to turn to wow...but with the current status of RVR. This will be a prime opportunity to stock up on items for templates.

I want to be able to Farm King and QUeen for gear. They drop very nice items.

I will most likely be on the savage, Ill be adding dps on later on with the Tormentors since they will be a big ass problem.

Farf Will be Loot Master as always.

I will be running the show for the most part, I am always open to suggestions brought up when we are medding. Dont tell me mid fight to do something...i get really pissed off and I unload on farf...altho he is used to it by now and will promptly tell me to stfu :p

Farf should go over the loot rules with you tonight or tomorrow before the raid.

One of us will have the BG. It will be based on invite only. No random people. Unless, we need a set class.

I know shamans are important to each group, it just seems they're important like a seatbelt is important. Everyone knows you need one, but they don't really like having to have it in favor of something more fun.

ground zero of raid day, i'm kinda stoked about today, as in all aspects, this has potential to be a great day

Two quick things. First, Lilae where are you from? I'm from Andalusia, AL.

Second:

Jormungander will be attending:

I'll be on Blods (Warrior) -- He tips the scale at a little over 3k hp buffed. I'm not sure if that's enough for an MA, or if another warrior's coming, but I can guard if someone else ends up MA. Blods is low RR still and doesn't have any of the mastery of block/parry or toughness RAs yet - or Testudo (although I don't think it helps PvE).

Sarah will be on Eyden (Valkyrie)
full Spear/Parry/Odins (no guard)

I also have Poppado I can bring ungrouped for buffs, comic relief, and wipe insurance.

Also planning to attend will be

Randy - Evorg (Thane)

James - Mezzalot (Healer) (Although he may bring a summon SM, or Cicero (zerk) or Bloodfist (shm) instead) --- I'm not sure.

More may also attend from Jormungander, depending on who's up for it tonight.

I even sent Grym a notification - so he may or may not be on, and may or may not be on Spehonfyr depending on Runie need.

We have other folks in-guild and the potential to field multiple other slots depending on need and who turns out.

I want this to succeed and go smoothly so I'm flexible.

Also -- I'm not sure how many slots are on VT's Vent server, but Jormungander has 32 slots for our TS, and I believe everyone in guild has TS already. Sarah does not have Vent - but if we decide to communicate via Vent, I can load it for her.

of the Ooks, so far, it's myself, Vonlotte, and Quiks...

Von can bring whatever is neccessary...he's the macguyver of daoc, if he doesn't have it, he can make it.

Quiks, i'm not so sure of, but he's a body on the floor.

For me, it is either warrior or thane, let me know which you like, although technically the warrior is the only one in the invited guilds - Nobobno is in Deth; pompous is in Ook Ook.
