i've reached an art of afk'ing, to the point where i just lower my standard of play to the point where it's unnoticeable if i'm there or not. the only true way to tell is if i'm not spamming /gu, then i'm probably afk, doin taxes, or lookin at porn...it's dangerous when you get the 3 mixed up.

you madam, are irreplaceable! really, i compare yous to the mountaintroll and that's a bigbigbigbigbig compliment (spell).

and kitty kat, the more healing the bettah, besides, you may have a good time.

WRU WHOREMUNGANDR IT'S ALMOST RAID TIME!

everyone left with something and as far as i know left happy.

went smoothly to me anyway, didn't go as long as i would've liked, but hey.

reality is, people gots lives and it was a weekday, hell even i had to be here at 8 this morning.

everyone has a different playstyle, and what makes this game truely fun is when you can blend all those styles together and come up with a nice rhythm.

we got some people here who like to pvp moreso than not, and we got people who like to pve moreso than not.
and then we got me and those unfortunate bastards like me, who just like to play for the sake of playing :)

yeah i like kickass gear, and yeah i like to smash the occassional face in, but mostly the reason i play this loveable pile of crap is to 1) see you freaks. 2) blow artificial money on dye 3) get that "norm" feeling when you log in (cheers, when he walks in...Norm!) you know the one. kinda feels good sometimes to know that johnny faraway knows you by the name of farf...hell, even when they know your real name they still call you farf. that's kinda nice i guess.

the point of this silly ass post is this:

you cant make everyone happy, but you can damn well make most of em mad.

what i propose is this. we do a relaxed casual raid at least 1 time a month. just for shits and giggles, mainly giggles. that way it's not much stress on the leaders or the followers.

like for instance, i'm thinking hard on a dragon raid. one weekend, maybe 2 weeks from now, why not? we proved last night that with a nice gel of people with talent and the slightest bit of sense, we can get it done...even when shit looks grim.

i know i can guard a door like thug. i've seen jorm do the same. turc hits like a train with no rails and blod is one of the toughest little tanks i've seen in a while. and hell, grym's pet had me worshipping it (mainly cause i wish i was that sexy).

whaddaya say?

Hehe -- I'm up for it.

I think we could easily get in multiple dragons on the same night if we hop servers in just a few hours.

I don't mind doing TG again and I had a lot of fun in there last night, but with Sarah being pregnant and all, it's uncomfortable for her to sit still sometimes, so long raids like that get rough on her back, and she gets tired more easily to boot - especially on a week-night when she's got work the next morning.

If we do more raids, I know she would be appreciative if they were on weekends.

As for me, I had a grand time last night. I want to RvR more on Blods and work on more RAs for him like toughness and Aug. Con, plus some points into mastery of pain, block, and parry, but for what he is I think he's a solid little dwarf.

The #1 cause of death in every MMO I've ever played was running out of HP, so I've tried building him from day 1 to around minimizing that particular problem.
