He's not leaving until Monday.

I think I made the handcuffs tight enough, maybe I should check them. His screams aren't loud enough.

Bish,

Sorry to be a little slack, been a crazy week... My girl moved in, I had a girl from my office come visit, and my work backed up after my hols..

But enough whinging, get your lazy arse to the DC area, Alicia and I are available till 26 July when we head to Wisconsin for 5 days... Then back in DC before going to NASCAR in Pocono on 3-5 Aug.. Then lastly Dallas on 12-16 Aug..

If anyone is in any of those places give a yell and we can try to catch...

Cheers

Back in Australia now, eh? Nona and I are just back from camping in Hope, which is on the other side of Turnagain Arm, far past Girdwood where we took you for dinner at the Double Musky. It was awesome to get out camping. I hadn't been camping in so long, and the biggest pleasure was starting fires two or three times a day.

We also saw a golden eagle up close. It was closer than an arm's length away from me when we came out of this side trail to the edge of a bluff. Startled, it flapped its wings, which were wider than I can stretch both arms out to my sides, and rose into the air. The noise of its wings on air from so close was loud and powerful. Behind it, on the cliff, it left the back end of a salmon, having already devoured the front three-quarters.

We had some fun for fourth of July, too, which I had meant to mention before. Remember Star the reindeer. Nona and I were invited to walk with Star in the Independence Day Parade. Afterwards, we were allowed in Star's habitat, her domicile, of which she is very protective and only tolerates a few select people to enter. She didn't mind us being in there.

Anyway, hope you are well in Adelaide, and I hope your entire trip was as awesome as possible.

Later,
Rob

Killa,

Golden eagles are indeed very cool.

Me back in my younger days. That's actually me holding the eagle in the first 2 pictures. :):

Yeah, I remember. :)

Yep, War Eagle VI is retired. She's actually rather old for a golden eagle.

The eagle was a great ice breaker when travelling to road games.
