This month I migrated web hosts again, and went through the complicated process of figuring out how to get an old backup on a previous version of phpBB on the new server. What fun!
I know that nobody really visits these boards anymore, especially with social media apps being a far better way to keep in touch. And I considered just letting the boards go dark. However, the techie in me just couldn't resist the challenge, so here it is. However, I am officially not planning on any further migrations in the future.
