Great Beer!

My recent favorites are Mothership Wit (New Belgium, Fort Collins, CO) and Kiltlifter (Pike Brewing, Seattle).

Might be hard for you easterners to find, but worth the effort.

Hmmmmmmmmm.....2 years ago I was drinking in Austin.........3rd street or something......But it was all shots >.<

Somethin in the 5th/6th street bar district probably. That place is crazy. I have never seen that many bars/bands/people in such a small area.

yeah.....We went with Brad's cousin who had just graduated from UT......I felt like such an old fogey....<huuuuuuuuuuh>
with all the college kids.....

Then I got pissed when they had last call at 2am......

I found this beer at a local liquor store...and bought it just because of the name..but I must say it wasnt bad either...it was called Dirty Dick

Arrogant Bastard Ale rocks!

Those guys at Stone Brewing Company, near San Diego, CA, are turning out some really great 'big beers'.

I love the label on the Arrogant Bastard Ale tho':

"This is an aggressive beer. You probably won't like it. It is quite doubtful that you have the taste or sophistication to be able to appreciate an ale of this quality and depth. We would suggest that you stick to safer and more familiar territory -- mabye something with a multi-million dollar ad campaign aimed at convincing you it's made in a little brewery, or one that implies that their tasteless fizzy yellow beer will give you more sex appeal. Perhaps you think multi-million dollar ad campaigns make a beer taste better. Perhaps you're mouthing your words as you read this."

p.s. their sesaonal (Spring) "Russian Imperial Stout" is EXCEPTIONAL, and should not be missed at any cost!
