success in BWL!!

nerdcraft took down Chromaggus for the first time tonight... we tried Nefarius a couple or 6 times and weren't able to get past stage 1, but we're learning.

I had fun even though no druid stuff dropped, not that I would have gotten it anyway lol.

I love the PvE in this game!!!

Right now they've made it to stage 2 Nefarian, but once you get to stage 2 you have to soft-reset the instance, so it can't be done for 30 min between tries. After the patch they will fix that and you'll only be able to try once every 12 hours after hitting stage 2 of the fight.

I had to work so I got online after they started, couldn't join, but got to listen to a lot of cussing in vent.

They had a good color combo last night, so stage 1 wasn't much of a problem. However, in BWL... one person can wipe a 40 man raid with a simple mistake, or by not listening. That wasted one try, then someone zoned back in too soon and they all had to wait another 30 minutes, then bad luck took em down on the last try with Nef at 42%. Personally I think that Jeff losing power caused nerdcraft to wipe. GOOD JOB Jeff.

Here's one of us waiting to turn in Nef's head - they display it hanging from one of the arches in Stormwind for a while... and everyone in town gets a really nice 2 hour buff.

and yes, those are reindeer, there is a quest you can do to turn your mount into a reindeer during the holidays

WoW is a good game dammit. It's still a challenge at least, unlike DAoC.

I think Grym would be addicted to the BGs right away.

WoW is a cool game if you have the time to grind...even end of game instances....I guess thats why I ended up leaving...just didnt have the sundays to devote to MC..etc
