Player Movements

Post by Sooth »

Guys & Gals,

Just so every one knows the circumstances and no rumours commence.. Please be advised that in consultation with Darukh it was decided to remove Nightquest and his associated toons from the guild.

This was done as a direct reflection of his solo play style, which to date has not been beneficial to the guild in any shape or form. I had a conversation which some were privvy to in /gu yesterday and he could not understand VT's aims and standards. I understand he is a game friend of a couple of people within the guild and fully accept that this may cause some concern. To those players though, there is no animosity and in fact I hope you guys can continue developing Nightquests playing style to the point were he may one day be an asset to a guild.

Hopefully all can realise that VT is about a community, it's about a willingness to help one another and be cooperative. I know and appreciate that everyone in the guild loves to group party and this helps keep VT rolling along.

With that in mind it has been great to see so many VT online over the last few days.. Lots of old faces returning and lots of new ones reaching the elusive Level 50 mark. Please keep in mind as your logged in that we are a part of a great alliance and as such are both expected to assist and get assistance from time to time..

Thor's Sentinels have a TeamSpeak server operating at all times, and if your able jump on there.. (If I'm on you'll always find me in there..) These guys are a wealth of information and are always willing to help others for the good of the alliance.

Cheers
Sooth

Well said Sooth. In our quest to revive Volsung Tribe there will be players that will be a mutual fit for the guild and themselves and some that won't. We look to swell the ranks of VT but also adhere to the guild's purpose, not outgrowing ourselves to where people feel like a number. We strive to maintain that level of cameraderie and that always is Volsung's biggest asset. That and the continuing discussion of boobers!

We do indeed have a great alliance and I see it continuing this trend to becoming a fantastic community to be a part of!

If you really loved us Lil, you would come back, and drag Turc out of his retirement as well... (Miss you guys...)

Speaking of old timers though, any whispers about Khary and/or Shubo??

Haven't heard about Shubo for a very long time :(

Last I heard he was far away from gaming...

Chad (Turc) is currently not playing anything, and getting a lot more done around the house such as... oh... regular mowing of the lawn, building a circuit for his freezer/computer, working, walking the dog and getting regular exercise, etc.

I'm still playing WoW, but getting burnt out on it. To be honest, come next fall, I probably won't be able to play anything anymore, as my new school is 50 miles away and I'll be studying (and commuting) a lot more.

I'm sticking with WoW for now because it's an addiction of mine. I almost pre-ordered the expansion today even, but didn't.

Really, I'm going to see if Warhammer Online is any good when it comes out. Maybe by then I'll have time to play between work and school.

Oh, news is that Khary and family will be moving to Colorado come August/September. Breaks my heart as my beautiful and brilliant goddaughter will be far far away from me, :( but this is an awesome opportunity for Khary's wife and this will be a gigantic step for all of them.

As far as I know, he doesn't plan on coming back any time soon, but if I see him in the near future, I shall berate him for not posting on these boards. I know he's posting somewhere, just not here...as much. (DON'T TRY TO HIDE FROM ME KHARY)

He's still lurking...

So Turc has finally had that chair surgically removed from his fat ass eh ? How much screaming did you have to do to get that to happen Lil? Nah .. understand he needs to get a life .. but would be nice to see him pop in occassionally, just to rock on with us .. as for Nightquest , I musta missed something , but then again I can mainly only play at night in Aussie time .. so I miss everything anyways .. but on a whole it is good to see a bit of action in the Guild and to see VT growing again .. keep up the good work guys !

Galahad / Mid - We're still here running with Imperial March and Thor's Sentinels. The alliance is taking in quality guilds to swell the ranks so activities and rvr can be accomplished. We also are mass leveling 50s to swell our ranks in the frontier but I am gonna tell you right now Grym it ain't your type of RvR.

We intend to zerg these Mids to higher RRs because the 8v8 mentality killed Midgard and there ain't no way RR3s can survive in the 8 man grps running out there.

I'm usually on almost nightly bro.

I've been playing between Sigmarh my Thane and Mordenkai my suppression specced runey. I'm really enjoying my supp runey and have made him a zerg-defensive weapon by adding a croc-ring to his template to expand a red bladeturn over 2 grps! I will be taking him to ml10 and switching him to Stormlord for nasty trap capability.

Look me up on those two toons bro!
