Valkyrie Template for Eyden

My wife wanted a new Valkyrie Template. Once the new patch comes out we'll likely be switching her to sword/shield and working something up from there.

I don't know a spec yet, but I'm working on some ideas for her new spec.

Here's the proposed template I came up with for her. Thoughts / Opinions / Critiques welcome. And yes, I realize Hord's Bloodstained Belt is a TG drop.

The mission here is to make Eyden a very solid and surviveable, well-rounded and balanced healer/nuker/tank with a lot of long-range spell versatility for sustaining heals and her pulse sweeps -- and casting, which is what Sarah wants to do. It's *(#& hard, especially factoring in this new specline ,to squeeze everything under the hood on a Valkyrie, both in spec-points and in gear. I can't see VN boards here at work, but I may look at those tonight as well.

Any advice is welcome.

The +Sword is a bit light in my opinion, but it's just tough to get it all. If desired, you could take away +2 Spirit and/or the +28 DEX from the arms and maybe the +22 PIE from the legs and dump all of that into +Sword to bring it up some. The DEX wouldn't be that big of a deal, but dropping the piety will lower her spell damage and heals, so I'm not sure if another +3ish or so Sword is worth it?

Focusing on just the arms, dropping the 28 DEX you could still keep +1 spirit for free and dump the points from both the 28 DEX and 2nd point of spirit into +Sword.

If we can squeeze 4 more points of sword, that would bring her to +7 sword in 1h/shield , and +11 sword in 2h with her champ weapon.

Alternatively, if we just leave it like it's listed above (provided that one looks good to folks) with +3 Sword, it would still put her at +7 in 2h mode.

Here's what I'm going to suggest to my wife after 1.84 goes live.

I had a template on my other computer, It will be a few before I can get there and get it.

Template had 101 str 95 con 53 dex 90 quick 75 piety 300 hits +11 sword/shield and capped resist.

Sarah really likes Odin's Will - so we'd like to keep it at 44 for her. Plus OW has that 65% rez now. However, Ragnarok *is* very nice though and is like a gleaming star in an otherwise lackluster sword line.

I'll talk to her about it - but she's not going to like trading off anything in Odin's - she loves that line.

If Mythic would just bump Valkyries to 2.2 to compensate for this new line - all this would be much easier.

Hey bud send Veydilla a /tell ingame if you can catch him online.. He is a capped Valk with Thors Sentinels and did a lot of testing on Pendragon.. He might be able to cast some light on the new standard spec for Valks...
