So... I was really about to quit. Seriously. My guild, although strong and nice for the most part, had pretty much settled on a 7 day raid schedule. Well, 5 days of serious raiding and 2 days of 20 man raiding.
I can't handle that.
Physically I can't, with my vision still so screwy that it makes me have huge headaches after doing things like that for 4-5 hours at a time.
So... They moved to Gul'dan. To escape the lag more than anything. Thunderlord has horrible lag.
I did not move with them.
However, I have been leveling a new druid on the Horde side of the Kilrogg server. It's PvE but the only difference I've been able to see is that there is no ganking. There is still plenty of world PvP if you wish, all you have to do is flag yourself. I'm playing with most of the former Knightwatch from DAoC Galahad, and they've turned out to be some of the nicest people I've met in WoW.
Of course, I'm comparing that to the high school poop jokes and racial slurs that were a constant in nerdcraft, but really they're pretty damn cool. Jeff and I are playing there, and Turc has even opened a new account and has been leveling a new hunter.
Just to let you guys know where we are, like Ed, and Phisto, and whoever else feels the need to come back.
Thunderlord is dead. I might transfer my NE druid to Kilrogg just for money and because she can make stuff that I can get over to my horde with a little effort.
Come on over if you wish.
