Monday, I paid 248.28 for 3 months of Cable ISP (6mb dl 768kb upload.) I scheduled the install for Wednesday for 3-5pm.

Wednesday, Tech guy doesnt show up....Call Thursday. The Original Tech guy stole the van with all of the equipment.

Later Thursday, Some more tech guys come out and Decide that they are going to put up a Midspan ( a 6 way splitter for the entire complex) Ordered it at 230pm. I was assureed by 2 damn supervisors that it would be installed by 7pm Friday.

Friday, wait all day. 2 black guys show up at 652pm and say quote:

"Look, I dont give a fuck man. I am not crawling my black ass up in that tree like a monkey for anyone. I gots my money..fuck you crackers."

You guys know my audible response.

I call the company, they apologize and promptly give me 1 month free service.

Only problem...they wont add anyone else to the invoice order. So, they have 0 idea when I can be online.

Guess what? They wont give me a refund.

I call the Orleans Parish DA. His ADA, said Tough, get in line.

I know now, why everyone was looting and turning that place into a ghetto after the Hurricane. I cant blame them, I can tell you so many stories about companies complaining the state wont pay them and they are leaving.

When I get off next Monday, I am going to pirate the cable signal and tell cox they can kiss my ass. I have service now.

and I was bitching that they charged us 50 bucks to have some guy come out and change our modem box...that we payed 200 bucks for like a few yars ago...and I guess now its obsolete...or something

could have used you the other night. We decided to see how far one group could get into TG.

Half the guys logged, but 4 of us and a bot made it to the King and Queen.

Even got her down to 35% at one point before we gave up

Well, we got creative and were all unbanded. So one guy would run like hell and draw aggro and the rest of us would sneak past where teh mobs used to be, then res the puller, etc
