We're not really recruiting, but the GM knows you're a friend of mine, and the biggest issue with invites is people they don't know who will want to raid all the time. We're already overloaded on people who want to do the big end-game raids every week.

Since you're an original VT (mention that) and a friend you won't have a problem, and Hercules has already agreed, but he doesn't want to do anything without officer approval.

Oh, and mention you're from Oz.

edit: I've pretty much given up on VT in WoW, it's mainly an alt guild and will probably remain that way unless Phisto comes back and makes it great again. <3 Everyone seemed so lonely there anyway.

Nimriel (my RL friend Susan) is nearly 60 and Rogart (originally from Veritas Orbis on Pell, was also VT on Galahad) is also 60 now.

Hey, anyone know if are they upping the lvl cap in WoW with the expansion?

yeah, supposed to be upping it to 70...

I don't really think that's the best idea, but since people scream through the PvE content they have now relatively quickly, they have to keep people interested. It's pretty much either PvP or PvE, you can't do both and be very successful in both at the same time.

Cool thing is though that they're coming out with another high-end instance before the expansion, and our server hasn't even gotten into AQ yet. Neither 20 or 40 man. So there's a lot left to do.

Once the expansion comes out, we'll have new races, and flying mounts. Fluff maybe, but FUN fluff. Leveling from 60-70 is supposed to be much more than grinding, and I doubt they'll raise it again after that for a very very long time if ever.

That really sucks that they're raising the cap. I imagine you'll have to get all new gear to accomodate the new lvl cap too? Items with Req lvl of 70 to use should be poppin up, ya? Ugh I'd be real pissed off.

Yeah but you gotta understand... we have several in our guild right now who have 8/8 of their 2nd tier armor. Personally I have 7/8 1st tier and 5/8 2nd tier.

AQ has even nicer stuff (/drool @ Genesis armor) so when we eventually make it in there will be nice. This armor in AQ will start to prepare people for the new expansion. As of right now, we have BWL on farm status pretty much (pretty much as in every boss goes down first try except for that little bitch Firemaw... grrr) and some of us (me included) don't care for the PvP. I'd rather level an alt than deal with those crazy people.

Raising the level cap is nowhere near as big a deal as you would think. Leveling in WoW is EASY, and the developers have mentioned that they do not want to drastically change the leveling pace with the increase of the cap. In other words, going from 60 to 70 will probably take only a couple weeks, and with access to several new dungeons to quest in it won't take long at all. Not to mention, the epic quality gear we have right now is actually mostly above lv 70 as far as stat points, so our gear does not become immediately worthless. Hell, the BPs from AQ are almost lv 90 if I'm not mistaken.
