Teamspeak changes

On Christmas day, our ISP decided to change IP addresses on us again, so for those of you who still use Teamspeak, the address is

68.190.1.184

not sure but you might need :8767 although that wasn't needed last time in the address space.

the password is the same

Lilae,

Will teamspeak let you enter a hostname instead of a IP address? If so, I would be happy to make: teamspeak.volsungtribe.com point to your IP. It would make it simplier to deal with changing IPs in the future.

Would that work okay?

I suppose, not sure how my ISP being on crack would work with that though. It seems to change totally randomly.. sometimes lasting for 6 months, sometimes 2 weeks.

You would probably have to explain that to me, as I'm pretty much an invalid when it comes to most things involving numbers.

Heya,

I sent you an email with some info on it.

In the meantime, I made a DNS entry that should be live for everyone by tomorrow afternoon.

Try connecting to: teamspeak.volsungtribe.com

That should be pointing to your server after the changes propogate around the world (12-24 hours).

If your ISP changes it again, just email me at urgon@volsungtribe.com

Urgon, in case that's different... I honestly don't know because we have had a couple of outages and I haven't been on to notice if it's changed
