Your Thoughts on this Spec

Post by koobs »

Need some advise, tell me what you think.

I got a soon to be 50 Frostaff Thane that is used as a tough caster.

At 50 i am looking at

50 Stormcalling
42 Shield
34 Hammer
20 Parry

This is just a base and I need some constructive critisim.

Is the Hammer too low, is the parry to low so i should stick it into shield/hammer.

Etc.

Thanks in advance

Personally, if you get Bodyguard (ML8 battlemaster) It doesnt matter if you get slam or not.

Since you are low rr/ML, 42 shield is a must for protecting casters.

Go 39 hammer, 42 shield, 50 sc. If you are going caster spec, you dont need parry to pull the chain off, just slam, doomhammer and cast 3-4 dds.

My troll is 50 hammer 50 sc. This is a typical fight in a group vs tanks:

/assist Caster MA.

DD, DD, DD,

When the get in range. RR5 WoC 3 both instas doomhammer Grapple. If they arent dead they are stunned for 45 secs. The caster im bging Nukes the rest down.

My dds are cast at the cap of 1.223 for about 320-360 against 26% resist. If i get an energy debuff from a dark sm. They are breaking 400 w/o crits.

I have a few ss of me breaking 500 w/ crits.
BEHOLD!!!! The gaseous stench of SKELETOR's breakfast burrito!!!!
