Hi ho,

Just a quick post to let yall know that myself, Vendrix and Jeff (Bratmus) are about but when we are not on Mid Galahad we are over on Hib Pellenor. We have got toons to molvik and are playing the otherside for a change. We are still in VO over there, the guild house is still functional. So if you feel like a change roll a hib and come join us.

I am hopeing that this will bring back lilae to DAOC.

We use the Thors Sentinals TS server and usually jump in an unused channel.

I know that Boe and Tommye went to another guild a while back, the name escapes me atm but I'll think of it eventually.

I would consider reactivating if only to PL you guys if I had the funds atm, but I don't.

Keep me up to date though!!

Phisto- yeah Vend has returned from wow and i play with him and Jeff (Bratmus,Dewbie,myho(#$%(( (cant spell it cause its japanese) Jihxer, etc etc all his hib toons and his brother is due back shortly. They have toons in VO and in Order of Contusion (which i now believe is pretty defunct)

I hook up with them whenever i am on a late or night shift usually between 7 am and 1pm. Vend even gets on in the morning before work for an hr.

Vends take on the "New" Daoc is something like, "Its better then when i left there is more options available at every level." And he doesnt have Catacombs.

Sooth,Dar,Mal,Kanem and the left overs (no offence to those i have missed) seem to be joining with Thors Sentinals and runing with them in molvik on raids and RVR.

I dont see Jorm or Spey but apprantly they are out there, i see Emyrald(sp) and some others i know on occasions and plesanties are exchanged.

I am having fun which hasnt been the case in a while. About a month ago i was to crawl off into the shaddows and cancel my account. I renewed yesterday. Guess i am having enough fun to justify the expense.

VO went to the Order of the Contusion. They are primarily an 8man guild.

personally, i've been slightly (very slightly) thinking about trying guild wars.

it's freakin free!!!

and if i do start playing, i have to think of a guild name that can rival the brilliance of names like

yeah man, i'm thinkin about it...

the expansion and the original are both stand alone games, which means you can buy either and still play, it's just you won't get to travel to the one you didn't get, or if you did buy the original and not the xp, then you won't get to use the benefits of the xp...such as, 2 new classes - different continents to explore - things of that nature.

either way, meh...i'm still kinda sick of MMO'ing. figure i'll read another book or two, then find something to do.
