enough already!

Post by Lilae »

So... I was really about to quit. Seriously. My guild, although strong and nice for the most part, had pretty much settled on a 7 day raid schedule. Well, 5 days of serious raiding and 2 days of 20 man raiding.

I can't handle that.

Physically I can't, with my vision still so screwy that it makes me have huge headaches after doing things like that for 4-5 hours at a time.

So... They moved to Gul'dan. To escape the lag more than anything. Thunderlord has horrible lag.

I did not move with them.

However, I have been leveling a new druid on the Horde side of the Kilrogg server. It's PvE but the only difference I've been able to see is that there is no ganking. There is still plenty of world PvP if you wish, all you have to do is flag yourself. I'm playing with most of the former Knightwatch from DAoC Galahad, and they've turned out to be some of the nicest people I've met in WoW.

Of course, I'm comparing that to the high school poop jokes and racial slurs that were a constant in nerdcraft, but really they're pretty damn cool. Jeff and I are playing there, and Turc has even opened a new account and has been leveling a new hunter. :D

Just to let you guys know where we are, like Ed, and Phisto, and whoever else feels the need to come back.

Thunderlord is dead. I might transfer my NE druid to Kilrogg just for money and because she can make stuff that I can get over to my horde with a little effort.

Come on over if you wish. :D

Gonna have to second this. It's very nice getting to play at my own pace again, not worrying that I'll lose my standing in the guild if I skip out on playing for a night.

KW is a great group of people and outstanding players as we all know. They plan to focus much more heavily on pvp than pve, but still want to experience the 20 man raid endgame to get some pretty kickass gear as well.

PS: If anyone wants to come back and play a druid, they need em bad! (Other classes too, but druids I think lilae's the only one!)

To be honest, I started a druid on another server last month that I was playing and really liked the class a lot. I will be heading back to Norfolk tomorrow and will hope to have my new kickass laptop by early next week. You can expect that I'll roll a druid with ya'll. Never played a horde character up too high as of yet, but It'll make things a little fresh and new for me.

The sword and sorcery games are dead to me now. Hearing that everyone is coming together on a different server does appeal to me though. I'm too casual a player now though so I may not be a good fit anymore.

I do miss playing with everyone, I really do. But Fro, Killa, and Amoq are on often enough to keep me playing and Eve is now starting to get good. We hooked up with a couple guys who are generous and plan on building us battleships. It's going to get real good in the next few weeks over in Eve as we start taking battleships into low security space. There were a few players we have targeted for termination. What's great is the bounty award for killing gankers.... Players put bounties on their heads and you can collect it upon killing them.

If this doesn't prove to be fun I may pop in for a visit again to Wow. Although... eh... I dunno.
